Around The Waves begins the day with a Mizzou football preview with the Battle of Columbia. In other words, the Tigers take on ranked South Carolina this weekend on the road. Missouri finally got over the SEC hump this past weekend by narrowly defeating Vanderbilt to earn their first conference win of the year. Game action is scheduled for 3:00 CT. The crew then transitions to America's Pastime, where they debate which team will capture the World Series crown. The Houston Astros have yet to lose in the postseason, going 7-0 against the Mariners and Yankees. Meanwhile, the Philadelphia Phillies have caught fire at the right time. The World Series is underway tomorrow. Around The Waves transitions to the NBA for Ben's Basketball Brief, where he gives his top 5 NBA teams.
