Sharon Brown’s journey in the food business began when she resolved her son’s chronic health issues using real food and bone broth. This experience compelled Sharon to become a Clinical Nutritionist and open a private practice. Sharon believed that true bone broth should be available to everyone and, so, Bonafide Provisions was born. Bonafide’s frozen bone broth launched nationally in 2016, due to Sharon’s drive to fill an unmet consumer need. In 2019, Sharon enlisted Amanda Luke, a seasoned general manager with 15+ years of experience in consumer products and retail, to take the helm as CEO. Together as President and CEO, Sharon and Amanda guide the strategic and creative vision of Bonafide Provisions, partnering with each team to achieve business growth and deliver on Bonafide’s mission to help everyone achieve wellness through the power of food. Sharon shapes Bonafide’s innovation strategy and builds key relationships with customers and partners, while Amanda guides the growth objectives of the business and manages financial performance. In addition, Sharon serves as the face of the brand and is a trailblazer on social media, thanks to her expertise in nutrition, her on-camera presence and her passion for staying connected with Bonafide’s loyal consumers.
