Join your hosts, Phraydoe Peans and Thompson as they discuss Florida born and raised, The Joy of Painting artist himself, Bob Ross. "There's no mistakes, just happy little accidents" probably the most well known quote from American painter, Bob Ross, who rose to fame in the 80's with his PBS show, The Joy of Painting, which ran from 1983 until 1994, so it's no mistake that his success was inevitable. Did you know Ross used to be an Air Force drill sergeant! He spoke the way he did because once returning home he wanted to leave that life behind and not yell or raise his voice again. Did you know his mentor, William Alexander, who also had a PBS show, had a similar style of dress and way of teaching. Did you know he had business partners that helped him sell paint, brushes and other painting supplies, go on tour and much more that helped elevate him to what he was. Join the conversation as Phraydoe tries to convince Thompson that Bob Ross didn't live the squeaky clean image he portrayed and there was something else lurking beneath.
