Episode 17 "hulk hogan" Join your hosts, Phraydoe Peans and Thompson as they discuss the rise and fall of American wrestling superstar Terry Bollea, aka, Hulk Hogan, who hails from the Clearwater and Tampa area's of Florida. Listen in as they discuss his rise up the latter at the WWF and how he helped create the superstar persona and made it the spectacle it is today. They talk about his start as a "babyface" and transition to a "heel" after joking the WCW after a fall out with Vince McMahon. They even get into his career as a actor in TV and film. They then debate the scandals that fueled his downfall such as his court admitted steroid use and racial slurs regarding his daughter dating men of another race. They ponder the pressures of the public to go from "regular looking guys in singlets" like the wrestlers of the 60s to the "jacked up" muscle guys of the 80s. Side note, Phraydoe may or not have a weird obsession with hulk's fixation of using hydrogen peroxide on his beard.
