At a time that the world was seeking an escape from what had become our pandemic normal, it was time for the Olympics. This particular Olympics was more than just another Olympics. The 2020 Olympics represented a sense of normalcy. It was a curated set of athletic events combined that allowed us as people to remember what life was like before the pandemic. Now, in all fairness, this Olympics was nothing like the usual, not only because of the rules of Social Distancing and Mask Mandates, no; but because of athletes like Raven "Hulk" Saunders.
Raven "Hulk" Saunders represents athleticism in a way that was true to her core. She unapologetically remained true to her Raven-ism and allowed the world to experience her and all her glory.
