The Young Professionals Podcast (TYPP), proudly brought to you by ADAPT Careers (https://adaptcareers.com.au) and co-hosted by Luke Marriott and Nicholas Sargeant (Sarge).
Tune in as we pick the brains of Saul Wakerman, Co-Founder of Legal Tech Start-Up Atticus (https://atticus.tech).
Originally from Alice Springs, Saul started his tertiary education with a Bachelor of Commerce/Arts in Sydney, before changing to a Bachelor of Law/Arts at Melbourne University (https://study.unimelb.edu.au/find/courses/undergraduate/bachelor-of-arts/what-will-i-study) (https://study.unimelb.edu.au/find/interests/law).
After completing his double degree Saul became a qualified teacher, working for Teach For Australia in Shepparton (https://www.teachforaustralia.org) for a few years before moving back to Melbourne and trying his hand at law. Saul landed a Graduate Role at Hall & Wilcox (https://hallandwilcox.com.au), working in the corporate law team for a couple of years before pivoting to the entrepreneurial life.
Saul is an advocate for providing realistic advice to students, encouraging people to think outside of the box when considering their career path.
