The Young Professionals Podcast (TYPP), proudly brought to you by ADAPT Careers (https://adaptcareers.com.au) and co-hosted by Luke Marriott and Nicholas Sargeant (Sarge).
Topic: Urban Planning.
In this episode we chat with Rebecca Ingleton, Senior Professional Urban Designer at Spiire (https://www.spiire.com.au). Spiire is an integrated team of civil engineers, landscape architects, surveyors, town planners, urban designers, visual media artists and water engineers providing specialist services to the property and infrastructure sectors.
After high school, Rebecca enrolled in a Bachelor of Environments at the University of Melbourne, now known as a Bachelor of Design (https://handbook.unimelb.edu.au/2020/courses/b-des), where she discovered an interest in urban history, eventually changing her major to Urban Planning and Design. After finishing her degree, Rebecca worked at urban planning and design studio, Human Habitats (https://www.humanhabitats.com.au/hhwp/), for 4 years. With a love for understanding how cities can be better designed, Rebecca has an exciting path ahead of her which we loved exploring on this week’s episode.
