We tend to elevate mentors, methods and things in a way that we think they have some special power to bring about change. But the Word tells us that God alone has the power to change us. We (and any tools we use) are just servants and instruments. The receptacle is not important, but the water it contains. This brings encouragement for us to remind us that we can trust God and His faithfulness to bring about the kind of change that only He can bring.
