Paul tells the Corinthians that they should take care of the shepherds that oversee them. Yet he also does not allow them to take care of him. Why this contradiction? Why would he deny from them what he actually encourages? At the heart of both sides is Paul's desire for the clarity, integrity, and purity of Gospel preaching in churches. He desperately wants an unbiased, deep, healthy Gospel to be preached.
