We very easily compartmentalize our physical life from our spiritual life. We convince ourselves that physical actions have no real affect on our spirituality. When it comes to sex and sexuality, we have a very permissive attitude, acting as if what we do with our bodies and our minds has no real consequence, that it's okay "as long as it's not hurting anyone" or "if it makes me happy." But this is not the case, and understanding the big picture of the beauty and glory of sex, marriage, and sexual union is the only thing that will help us understand the real problem of sexual sin.
