Our First Annual Spooky Season Spectacular wouldn't be complete without a classic tale about a family who experiences grief & guilt, then the occult, topped off with some casual possession! You know, that classic tale we all know and love. If you don't know that tale, then you haven't seen Hereditary; Ari Aster's 2018 horror film starring Toni Collette, Alex Wolff, and all the scares you need this Halloween season. Liz joins the pod, and she personally picked this one to talk about as her final spooky season episode this year. Thanks Liz, now I can't stop hearing clicking noises and being scared of looking in the dark corners of the room. A slow burn horror that doesn't shy away from tough subject matter and legit scares, Hereditary is one of the most unique (and in my personal opinion one of the best) horror films of the past 20 years.
