We wanted to take an episode to pay homage to one of the great filmmakers of our time: Richard Donner. From directing classic films like The Omen, The Goonies, and Superman to producing iconic films like the Lost Boys & X-Men, Donner had a career that spanned over 50 years that covered multiple genres and formats. Max is back on the pod with me to discuss someone who is a key factor in our love of movies & cinema, and we wanted to pay our respects to someone who has inspired so many people in the film industry, and sadly who is gone, but will never be forgotten. RIP Richard Donner, the biggest Goonie of them all.
