Max is back on the pod, and since we are both big fans of the Batman Character we couldn't pass up an opportunity to review the newest addition to the Batman franchise: The Batman! Starring Robert Pattinson as the caped crusader in his early days of wearing the cowl, this murder mystery film noir take on the character is truly unlike anything we have seen from the previous Batman movies. Written and directed by Matt Reeves, and alongside a spectacular all star ensemble cast (Zoe Kravitz, Paul Dano, Colin Farrell, John Turturro, Jeffrey Wright, etc), this film needed an episode dedicated to discussing it fully. We do a 20 minute spoiler free portion in the beginning, and then talk for the next hour about all the spoiler filled goodness. Deep dives into the characters, creating of the film, and breaking down some iconic scenes (Car chases, interrogations, and detective work, oh my!), this episode will do it all for y'all... similar to a masked vigilante in a certain desolate city we all know.
