Ms. Melissa Darcey is a high school english teacher who is passionate about inspiring a love for reading and encouraging her students to see the relevancy of literature in our life and culture. After getting her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, she pursued a career in corporate communications for 7 years before switching to education. As an advocate of student voice, she highlights the importance of mental health in this episode and enjoying high school even in a competitive environment.
