Description

In this week’s episode, Michael talks about injuries and discusses whether it’s necessary to ask about injuries in a yoga class. He suggests offering modifications and cues to avoid potential discomfort, rather than asking about injuries directly.

He furthermore talks about variations to accommodate challenge. The goal is to take care of the entire class without fixating on individual injuries, but to observe students’ needs. Michael offers an example by addressing lower back sensitivity in yoga poses.
