Recently the ATF has caused a large stir about the use of braces on AR-15 pistols and they even deemed a previously ATF approved pistol/brace firearm as an illegal short barrel rifle. Many shooters in the night hunting community use AR pistols on a regular basis and this recent ruling could open the door for even broader reversals of previous ATF approvals.
