Our word of the Week is "power." Richard Bishop joins soundman Jim and Mark to discuss how the 99% can get power. Carol Wald, W MT Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) organizer, discusses the organizing around reproductive justice in Montana, including advocating for a "no" vote on LR-131. We also look at the progress of rank-and-file democracy at the United Autoworkers Convention. And we see that the Inflation Reduction Act does not reduce greenhouse gases by as much as advertised. And we discuss opposition to nuclear weapons and war, while putting an eye on the averted strike by Boeing military production workers in the St. Louis area and evidence that the US military is directly running the war in Ukraine.
