We're on a mission to help one million people RISE by 2030 - join the movement at www.myrise.co.uk
I was reading about something on ye olde t'internet the other day.
A lady called Rosalie Bradford.
Apparently at one point she was the heaviest woman in the world.
Weighing in at 85 stone at her heaviest.
She lost a mammoth 52 stone of that.
Setting a record for the most weight lost.
Achieved through a combination of better eating and following the workout videos of well known American fitness personality of the time Richard Simmons.
Initially, she couldn't do the vast majority of the workouts.
So she started by clapping along to them.
"It was the only movement I could do," she explained.
Bit by bit, she did more and more.
Until she could do the whole workouts.
Which is awesome.
A powerful reminder that we can all exercise.
Various factors might affect what we do.
And how much.
Injuries, illness, time and much more.
But it doesn't stop up exercising.
We just do what we can.
Then, perhaps, over time, we'll find we can do more.
Maybe sometimes less again.
But we don't ever need to stop.
Much love,
