On this weeks episode, I brought in CAL Sports Academy creator, Corey Lord. Corey grew up in Barbados and was a track star as well as a soccer player. He represented his country for the national soccer team and had records in track for the nation. When he was in high school, he came to the United States where he ran track at Alfred State community college. After college, Corey took his talents to the basketball court and after some time, he fell in love with the game. He began training players and coaching for different teams. Corey saw the opportunity to start his own company and from there, CAL Sports Academy was born. In this episode we discuss community college versus university, that help is need in order to succeed, and that time plus effort equals success.
