On this weeks episode, I brought in former CEO Alan Levin. Alan has been working for his father since he was very young. When it finally came to his decision to either go to college or work, he chose to work for his father and work his way up in the family business, Northeast Building Products Co. At his company they produce windows and doors throughout the east coast. When his father decided to retire, Alan decided to buy out half of the company. This was just the start of what was to come. Him along with his wife Fran, started to grow the company into what it is today. He worked extremely hard to achieve the accolade of success that many dream of. After working 60 hours every week for the past 35 years, Alan decided to retire. In this episode we discuss what it is like running a large company, how he was able to grow the company into what it is today, and what he is doing now. Alan is a great and wise human being.
