Description

On this weeks episode, I brought in former Penn State Gymnast Jaret Beyer. Jaret has been doing gymnastic since the age of two. He has poured hours of hard work and dedication to be able to achieve his goal of becoming a Penn State Gymnast. However, Jaret's time on the team was cut short. Based on a multitude of injuries, Jaret's career as a gymnast ended sooner than expected. On this episode we talk about overcoming an injury not only physically, but mentally as well. Additionally, we discuss the mind set needed through the injury process and what makes the recovery bearable. Jaret has proven time and time again that he has the ability to remain mentally tough through it all. Though he might keep quiet most of the time, when Jaret opens up he is able to distribute some of the wisdom that he has learned through life thus far. I hope all of you can learn something from Jaret's story and have an open mind listening to this conversation. As always y'all, keep on keeping on...
