VSPOT founder Cindy Barshop is a nationally recognized, successful entrepreneur with a proven track record of over 20 years in women’s healthcare. Barshop founded the iconic Completely Bare Medi Spa in 1984 and it quickly became known as the go-to place amongst New York and Hollywood Elite for all female wellness services from waxing, laser, facials and spray tans. Cindy grew the company to 28 million and created a new category in hair removal with her Completely Bare product line that sold in over 30,000 stores including Ulta, Target and CVS.
Completely Bare single-handedly created a new category in personal grooming that companies like L’Oreal and Sally Hansen quickly tapped into. After selling Completely Bare, Cindy new there was more to be done in the female healthcare category and more treatments to offer women to make them feel their best; she went on to launch VSPOT in 2017 in New York and Philadelphia, bringing the same innovative approach and candor to the women’s sexual health and wellness marketplace. The former star of Bravo’s hit series Real Housewives of New York City has acquired numerous accolades incurring “100 Most Innovative Entrepreneurs” from Goldman Saks and WWD’s Inner and Outer Guru. Barshop has been featured in countless publications as an authority in women’s health including Allure, Cosmopolitan, New York Times and Vogue, just to name a few.
