Description

Today we have the "Chankla" Queen herself, Dr. Zoe Gazola DNP, an indigenous Mexican woman who is the owner of The Indigo Clinic, based in New York and Miami. In this episode, of course we jokingly speak of internet trolls, how so many people are keyboard warriors and make online assumptions and conclusions and how important it is to uphold our truth no matter the cost. After starting off in a very playful way, we get into the very serious topic of the treatment of minority skin in medical aesthetics and how Dr. Zoe's personal experience caused her to pivot and now run a very successful practice that is over 80% people of color. We talk about what can be done in marketing, training, and what steps the FDA has now taken to ensure that skincare for minorities is now more inclusive of people of color.
