This episode is not about conservative/liberal/etc. disagreements in the Church, but rather about discovering that the Church (though She is Holy) is made of real, imperfect people. Many have had experiences of being let down after beginning to work for the Church, or to volunteer in some capacity, or even just through the normal workings of being part of a diocese/parish.
