Today, we discuss the college football history of the UTSA Roadrunners. This program’s first season was in 2011 and by its second season, the school had set attendance records and posted a winning season. One coach who brought immediate national recognition, one record setting stunning win in their inaugural game, one failed onside kick to derail its first ever bowl win, one exceptional second season for the program, one running back who rewrote the school’s rushing records book, one quarterback who rewrote the school’s passing record book, one All-American tight end, two rivals, no kickoff returns for a touchdown and one roadrunner.
