So what is the root cause of period poverty? Are we doing enough to solve this problem? What is the need for sustainable sanitary products? What are the current alternatives to sanitary pads? Why is a menstrual cup not socially acceptable?
Tune in to listen to Shagun Maheshwari talk about the groundwork that the Myna Mahila Foundation does to alleviate period poverty and help the women of Mumbai's slum community.
