Why is it that “new years resolutions” hilariously flop?
Like the goal post is moving further and further away, or maybe I’m the one that is actually reverting backwards? Well if goals were the sturdy posts of our lives’ productivity, then maybe.
Luckily this moving goal post is an illusion (or actually a sh!tty joke). This isn’t an all or nothing scenario - there is actually motivation in the unchecked boxes, uncompleted tasks, and unknown journey forward.
