“Come on downstairs. I wanna see my number-one birthday boy…”
This week on The Blind Rage Podcast, Austin sits down with me to watch the 2014 Eli Roth-produced CLOWN. Next to Stephen King’s immortal classic IT, I dare to say this is the only other killer clown story, at least to my knowledge, that has something more to the story than simply a painted-face loony knocking people off. There are multiple layers and complexities, which makes the film open to interpretation.
Don’t get me wrong. We do a fair bit of analyzing themes, but we also have a good chuckle when the screen is spattered with rainbow-colored brains. Brainbows, if you will.
