It’s week three of FRIDAY THE 13TH month on The Blind Rage Podcast and I’m sorry to present…JASON GOES TO HELL: THE FINAL FRIDAY.
As a fan himself, Adam Marcus clearly tried to create a sequel Jason fanatics would love. Sadly, this one falls short. In a number of areas. We get a heaping helping of convoluted backstory no one really asked for. Some bizarre body-jumping. The incorporation of THE EVIL DEAD’s Necronomicon. Homoerotic shaving. And about 13 minutes of an on-screen Jason Voorhees.
On a rare positive note, we get one of the best (and nastiest) kills in the entire franchise. But is that enough to make JASON GOES TO HELL worthwhile?
