After Julie (Elizabeth Caitan)is assaulted by some college classmates, she is persuaded to visit the neighborhood Necromancer, with the exotic name of Lisa, to exact bloody and extraordinarily odd vengeance on her wrongdoers. With cheesy dialogue, bad acting, and special effects done by a team who were probably learning as they went, NECROMANCER is basically an I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE-type story, if it were done by Rick Sloane or David DeCoteau.
I’d only just learned of this one a few years back, as it was out of print and hard to find before Vinegar Syndrome gave it the star treatment by putting it out on Blu-ray. As a little Australian tyke, it was a multiple renter for The Thunder from Down Under, who was elated to share his thoughts on the cinematic cheese wheel.
