“I can’t live without you…and I won’t let you live without me.”

Physically and emotionally abused wife Laura (Julia Roberts, fresh off of PRETTY WOMAN) fakes her own death to escape the clutches of deranged Martin (Patrick Bergin). Relocating to a small town in Iowa, Laura changes her identity and begins a new life. Unfortunately, Martin discovers she is still alive and will stop at nothing to find her.

It may seem more than a little cliched by today’s standards, but back in 1991, SLEEPING WITH THE ENEMY was an incredibly tense thriller, considered one of the best of its era. It isn’t very often that we dedicate The Blind Rage Podcast to mainstream Hollywood cinema, but certain films deserve an exception.
