In today's episode of the podcast we are interviewing Lauren Savage and discussing the importance of networking and internships. Lauren is an aerospace engineer at Lockheed Martin and a M.S. Candidate at Johns Hopkins University studying Space Systems Engineering. Lauren earned her pilots license in high school at the age of 17. In her free time, Lauren mentors at two different organizations, has recently become chairwoman of the board at a DFW-based nonprofit serving the homeless population, and enjoys space science communication on IG and YT to inspire girls and women to pursue aerospace careers.
