Description

This episode was recorded a while back. Three guys in Frisco, TX wanted the pool world to know about their new software that helps with managing tournaments, leagues, and other pool-related matters. The website is called digitalpool.com and it's free to use. Upon first going to the website, you will notice the clean, sleek interface with beautiful online brackets. The site helps make sure your tournaments run smooth and efficient with text alerting, smart table scheduling, and time estimates for each match or the entire tournament. There are future plans to incorporate a live stream platform and other enhancements.   About the guests:  Isaac Wooten is a Google developer that loves pool and finding ways to use technology to make things work better. He created digitalpool.com and maintains it with a focus on keeping it free to use for the pool industry.  Craig Lucas is the owner of Snookered and has a background in the software industry as well. Craig was instrumental in getting this interview set up and believes that technology such as digitalpool.com is essential for pool room owners. Snookered recently hosted a number of great events including Fedor Gorst vs. Jeffrey De Luna and the Michael Montgomery Memorial Tournament.   Doc Reyes worked with OB Cues for years and now runs successful events and leagues throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth metro area. He just wrapped up another successful Michael Montgomery Memorial Tournament and manages a full schedule of events on the Cuetec DFW 9-Ball Tour.
