I was inspired to discuss this topic as it has been coming up during dance competitions (as a teacher and adjudicator). I have been really working hard over the past few years to be more mindful of my language and being more inclusive - especially as an educator and mentor. The biggest take away for me is that this is a practice. It is work. And it is important. Let me know your thoughts!
