Exploring symbols in the film Antebellum
In today's episode I'll be exploring the symbolism and the plot of the 2020 film Antebellum. This is more of an analysis than a review. The film stars Janelle Monáe, Eric Lange, Jena Malone, Jack Huston, Kiersey Clemons, and Gabourey Sidibe. Directed by Gerard Bush and Christopher Renz. It's also produced by the same people that brought us "Get Out" and "Us". Provided via the film's website the synopsis is: Successful author Veronica Henley finds herself trapped in a horrifying reality that forces her to confront the past, present and future -- before it's too late.
