I'll be taking a trip down forbidden 90s teen movie lane to discuss the film Wild Things. Let's get confused and unconfused together. I don't know what I would have done without Shea Serrano's article Revisiting All of the Double-Crosses in Wild Things, 20 Years Later.
Wild Things is a 1998 American neo-noir crime thriller film directed by John McNaughton and stars Matt Dillon (Sam Lombardo), Neve Campbell (Suzie Toller), Kevin Bacon (Ray Duquett), Denise Richards (Kelly Van Ryan), Bill Murray (Ken Bowden), and Theresa Russell (Kelly’s mom Sandra Van Ryan). It’s full of twists and turns all the way until the end. When teen debutante Kelly fails to attract the attention of her hunky guidance counselor, Sam Lombardo, she accuses him of rape, igniting a scandal that results in his arrest. Sam appeals to an unscrupulous lawyer named Ken Bowden. Soon, a second victim, Suzie, comes forward, and Detective Duquette discovers that the unfolding case is far from what it seems.
