In the age of information, a worrying trend that we have been observing is the rise in "misinformation" as a front to censorship. In Joe Rogan's words, “Many of the things that we thought of as ‘misinformation’ just a short while ago are now accepted as fact.” Whilst misinformation is a propaganda war that is almost as old as warfare itself, what's new is that now there's the willful participation of so-called private entities to support the government narrative of misinformation (an "advisory note" if you will).
