Pilates on the Mat is showing up in many yoga studios! I love integrating Pilates principles into my yoga classes, with many similarities, Pilates can be an OMazing compliment to your yoga practice, sort of like Yoga cross-training! Pilates focuses on the "Powerhouse" the core and pelvic floor, then expands from there.  Whereas, Yoga focuses on rooting from the ground to the crown. Both focus intently on the breath, although for different reasons, the results are the same, connecting you back to self.  I hope you enjoy this episode and perhaps add Pilates to your health and wellness lifestyle!
