This episode we have the multi talented artist Leslie Cober on and we talk about how she became an artist as well as her love for music and the community working with FTC Fairfield Theatre Company. . An award-winning artist known for her uplifting, elegant art and design, Leslie Cober’s endeavors include a thriving and accomplished illustration career, designing performance spaces, instructing and mentoring undergraduates in illustration and design as an Assistant Professor at The Fashion Institute of Technology NYC, instructing and mentoring graduate MFA Illustration students as an Assistant Professor at WCSU, curating The Members show at The Museum of American Illustration Society of Illustrators NYC annually, guest speaking to art and design students at various universities throughout the country, serving as a member of the NYC Landmark50 Alliance, Chairperson of the Visiting Lecture Series at both FIT and WCSU (bringing in world famous, top notch artists), and newly appointed to The Sanford B Low Illustration Collection Committee at the New Britain Museum.
Leslie serves on the Board of Directors at the Fairfield Theatre Company in Fairfield, CT, passionately spreading art, design, culture, & live music throughout the community.
