The World of Eora is a news/lore podcast about Obsidian Entertainment's fantasy world, Eora, used in the Pillars of Eternity games, as well as their upcoming release: AVOWED.
Watchers play an instrumental role in the history of Eora, and are notable individuals for their unique innate ability to interact with souls, and the essence souls are made of.
In Pillars 1&2 you play as a Watcher, and as such, understanding what a watcher is will help you understand your character that much more. As well, given the significance of watchers within the lore, its probable we will interact with watchers in some way, shape or form in the game of Avowed. Perhaps we might even be a watcher ourselves, who knows.
