El 19 de septiembre de 1968 murió en Viña del Mar Segundo Zamora Alfaro, más conocido como “El Guatón Zamora”. Alguna de sus canciones más populares fue "Adiós, Santiago querido", "Mándame a quitar la vida" y "El marinero".
