As a lover of weight-lifting, Alena shares her story of how she was able to find joy in gaining strength at the gym, rather than focusing on the number on the scale. We discuss the pros and cons of macro and calorie counting and whether “cheat” days really are sustainable lifestyle choices to adopt in life (hint: they’re not). We also talk about the fine line between adopting plant-based diets and food restriction, as well as overcoming food guilt!
