Three Illustrations of God’s Agenda through People
The Prophet. Elijah illustrates us the astounding significance of God’s message of grace.
We will indicate by our obedience whether we believe God’s message of grace
We will indicate by our words whether we believe God’s message of grace
The Servant. Obadiah illustrates that we can serve God even if the people around us don’t
We show that we serve God by doing our jobs well
We show that we serve God when act with justice and mercy
The King. Ahab illustrates that we are unable to hide the condition of our souls behind our curated identities.
What we value will reveal the condition of our soul
What/who we blame will reveal the condition of our soul
