Jackson represented Singapore at the GSEA 2016 as the National Champion and was recognized as the top young entrepreneur in Singapore.

In 2015 (year 2 of his undergraduate stint), Jackson was selected as one of the top 5 Venture Capitalist apprentices and was attached to Red Dot Ventures in a TV reality show - Tyro VC. He has been featured in The Straits Times, TEDxYouth, e27, Asiaone Business, FBNC Vietnam, 联合早报, Asia Inc Up Close, VTC News, Southeast Asia Globe Magazine, 启迪之星 (杭州), Junior World Entrepreneurship Forum and related publications for his work in entrepreneurship, technology, and innovation. In 2017, he became the sole recipient of the SMU Outstanding Achievement in Student Life (Special Interest). This award is conferred to individuals who have attained distinguished achievements and received honorable mentions at national, regional or international competitions.

Jackson received his Information Systems degree with a double major (IT and Management) at the Singapore Management University on dual scholarships (SMUAA Scholarship & Gary Kunis Scholarship). In the same year, he was selected as the winner of the inaugural Singapore Valley Awards (SVA) and subsequently chosen by Alibaba Group to acquire a deeper knowledge of the China market and entrepreneurship in practice. To give back, Jackson also spends his time to guest lecture at Temasek Polytechnic where he teaches innovation and entrepreneurship, and mentor at SMU.
