This week on ISD, we start off by showing our respect the late great Young Dolph! Dolph was a extremely successful rap artist who is know for his journey on the independent path. Having turned down numerous record deals, including one that offered $22 million, Dolph achieved extreme success in his career by not only dropping quality music on a consistent basis, but by being and kind and generous person. Dolph was known to show more love for his fans than the average rapper. Earlier this year, Dolph gave away a $400,000, custom Lamborghini to a lucky fan. When the fan turned around and sold it, Dolph showed all the support in the world by commenting “GET PAID”. Beyond just the flashy items, Dolph is know for his charitable work. Dolph hosted a annual Turkey drive for his home city of Memphis and also ran a campaign with his wife to increase survival rate for black men with his wife, Mia Jaye. Below is the website for that:
