Everyone’s learning process is different. Learning processes differ depending on for example:

• the type of thing you want to learn

• your experience with the topic so far

• the methodologies and learning techniques you’ve been taught to use in the past

Some sign up for courses to work towards a specific outcome in a container, finding support in sharing their journey with their classmates. Others go for coaching or mentoring to receive 1:1 or personalised support. And again others like a more independent approach and try to figure it all out by themselves.

Whatever your learning strategy looks like, it can be that you:

• Don’t know really know where to start or how to continue

• Feel overwhelmed with all the different resources, materials and courses available and don’t know which is right for you

• Get stuck because you focus on things you don’t actually need by using old-fashioned learning methods that don’t (longer) work for you

• Feel alone, because you don’t have anyone to share your progress with

As an avid learner of anything to do with yoga and foreign languages, I’ve explored many different learning strategies. Some worked, some didn’t, and years back I thought it’d be the same for everyone.

However, teaching English as a foreign language has taught me that the opposite is true. Everyone has a different way of absorbing and processing information, so I’m aware that there’s no one-size-fits-all.

I love exploring this topic and it’s my passion to help you optimise your learning journey. So, having helped hundreds of yoga teachers and English learners navigate their journey I realised that there’s one thing that truly works for all: personalising your learning journey!
