Description

The Burning Bed, starring Farrah Fawcett, was one of the major “television events” of the 1980s. After more than a decade of abuse, Francine Hughes seeks help to leave her husband. After an exceptionally brutal attack, Francine starts the bed on fire, with her drunk husband passed out in it. He dies, and she stands trial for murder. This movie is based on a true story.
