Michelle Markgraf is my guest in this episode. She has been support person and advocate for survivors of intimate partner violence and sexual assault for 10 years. She was previously the executive director of a center for counseling and advocacy services for domestic violence. Now she provides educational workshops across the country aimed at empowering survivors and training those that want to support them. In this episode Michelle provides clear and powerful information on issues of sexual assault and domestic violence. She also reflects on her experiences and what she has learned about leadership, building a culture of compassion and connection with her team, and creating mission driven services. Be advised that Michelle and I cover some mature topics in this episode that may not be suitable for younger audiences.
