Romans 6:15-18
15 Well then, since God’s grace has set us free from the law, does that mean we can go on sinning? Of course not! 16 Don’t you realize that you become the slave of whatever you choose to obey? You can be a slave to sin, which leads to death, or you can choose to obey God, which leads to righteous living. 17 Thank God! Once you were slaves of sin, but now you wholeheartedly obey this teaching we have given you. 18 Now you are free from your slavery to sin, and you have become slaves to righteous living.

It seems like obedience is the price we pay when we become believers.
We think the obedience is where our joy derives from.

We all are like Daddy's girls for God.
It's more fun for God to give believers things to accomplish towards the goal and it gives God the chance to develop a relationship with us. We can be God's little screw picker-uppers.
We are a slave to whatever we choose to obey.
At work we work for a paycheck.
The death rate is 100%.
We can treat our lives as though we are the thieves on the cross
The thief on the cross can be safely referred to in past tense.
If you have no "real" future on earth.
We can begin doing things that can last into eternity.
We can be God's little screw picker-uppers.
We can be obedient to god or obedient to this world.
Smokers know they are not living the best version of their lives.
But when we repent we need to repent and hand God everything.
