Something must chase humanity out of poverty
Something must chase humanity out of lack
Something must chase humanity out of gluttony
It’s in the ideals of what is to come, that we see
That we need more than we can think as we foresee,
The danger in being an island without counsellors
The longer we stay in this place, we become oblivious
Some wear the coat of honor like a badge of wealth
Some tear the coat of honor like a bridge of death
Heaps of treasures, cannot save mankind at the end
Heaps of pleasures, cannot save mankind at the end
Heaps of insurances, cannot save mankind at the end
A storehouse of wisdom and understanding is foolproof
Even in the days of pain or struggle there’s a leap of hope
In those who beget understanding and wisdom
As they will suffer less
